Tavi Gevinson
Tavi Gevinson's TED Talk was very interesting. She basically put into words things that I have been feeling. I could tell that she really cared about her presentation, but also that she was nervous. I liked that she was herself the entire speech. She didn't try to use big words to get her point across. It was obvious that she spent a lot of time on this. Tavi could have been a little more confident in her speaking. She paused a lot and stumbled through her words. She didn't use her stage very well, for almost all of the talk she stayed in one spot. Although she was very good about moving through her slides. I connect to this video because of shared feelings. I believe that other girls my age, not only in America, but all around the world can and will also relate.

Dave Eggers
Dave Egger's TED Talk was very interesting. He was very interactive with his power point. Egger's speaking technique used his hands to get his point across. He talked very fast leading me to believe that he was nervous, he also said 'uh' and 'um' a lot. Egger didn't use his stage very well. For the most part Egger stayed behind his podium. Some things that I took away form this video are the importance of not speeding up during my speech and not directly reading things from my slide show. I think that this video is important because it can help kids that need tutoring get tutoring. I didn't really connect to this video but I can see how other people can connect to this video.
