Daniel Pink

I think that Daniel Pink was successful in getting his point across by using stories. One thing that I am taking away from this TED Talk is the use of stories. By making his point with the use of real life examples made the topic easier to understand. Daniel Pink kept the audience interested in what he was saying. His effective speaking techniques include humor and personal stories. From the TED Talks that I have watched so far humor seems to be a common technique. Pink's presentation techniques include a slide show that enforces his point, involving the audience, and changing his emotion throughout his presentation. This video is important because it outlines the importance of motivation in our society. This connects to me and the world because, at least in America, motivation is very much present and a reason our companies do so well.
