Sir Ken Robinson TED Talk 1

Sir Ken Robinson included humor in his TED Talk. He brought in stories that helped back up his TED Talk. I loved the jokes that he made while making his point. It is very true that arts are at the bottom of school systems list of importance and in the arts grouping drawing and music are at the top of that list and dancing and drama are at the bottom. The way that Sir Ken Robinson explains this really draws in the audience. I liked that he didn't flat out say that education kills creativity. Even though his point was very clear he never came right out and said his point.

I think that Sir Ken Robinson's presentation style was a little stiff. Even though everything that he said was great and really brought in the audience, he never really moved around. To me it seemed as though he was frozen to the stage. I feel like this video is an eye opener to society. Education really is killing off creativity. The way Sir Ken Robinson presents his topic it makes it seem as though we should start taking action on this issue right now. I feel very connected to this issue because I am creative and have felt like the arts in schools have not been a main focus. I feel like Sir Ken Robinson was successful in getting his point across and making people want to take action.
